How we write product pages, guides and reviews.
Lace Index writes for people deciding what to buy. This page explains how the facts on the site are produced and corrected.
Product facts
Titles, colours, sizes, prices and stock come from the product record we hold. We do not invent “was” prices, countdown timers or stock levels. If a style is low in stock, the product page says so.
Fit and fabric guides
Guides are based on measurements and fit checks against the stock we hold. They describe how a piece fits and what to check before ordering. They are not medical advice; if a fit issue is outside our experience, we say so.
Reviews
Reviews are moderated before they appear. A review is marked “Verified order” only when the order number matches an order containing that product. We publish negative reviews as well as positive ones. We do not write reviews ourselves.
AI and search
Pages are written for people first. We do not stuff keywords or generate claims to match a query. Where a page summarises a product, the summary is checked against the product record.
Corrections
If something is wrong, use the contact page with the URL and the correction. We update the page and note the change where it matters.
