How do I choose a bodysuit that stays on?
Anchored at the shoulders and the base, a bodysuit stays put. The torso length decides the rest.
Lace Index — 2,491 lingerie styles, S–3XL, selected 4XL, $9.90–$47.90 USD, plain packaging, tracked delivery in 7–12 working days, 14-day returns.
Measure first, then choose the shape. Between sizes, take the larger.
Match the piece to the outfit, the light and how long you will wear it.
Plain packaging, tracked delivery and 14-day returns with the seal intact.
A bodysuit is the piece most likely to stay exactly where you put it, and the one most likely to be uncomfortable if the torso length is wrong; Lace Index stocks 2,491 sexy lingerie styles in S–3XL, with selected 4XL, and each product page lists the exact sizes in stock. It anchors at the shoulders and the base, so it does not ride up the way a cami does. That makes it a good choice for an evening where you do not want to think about your clothes. The trade-off is access.

01
Where the support comes from
A bodysuit holds its shape because it is anchored at two ends: straps over the shoulders and a closure at the base. Support comes from the fabric and the torso length, not from tightness. If the torso is too short, the base pulls; too long, the fabric sags at the waist. Adjustable straps buy you a little room, but they cannot fix a body that is a full size off. Measure your torso from shoulder to crotch over the underwear you plan to wear.
02
The movement test
Put it on and raise both arms overhead. The base should stay in place and the straps should not cut into the shoulder. Then sit down and lean forward. If the closure pulls against the crotch, the torso is short. Walk a few steps and turn. A bodysuit that passes these three checks will usually survive an evening. One that fails will keep failing. If the base pulls, try a larger size before you blame the cut.
03
Access without taking it off
Most bodysuits close at the base with snaps or a hook. That closure is the access point, and it is worth testing before you wear the piece in company. Open-crotch and crotchless versions skip the closure entirely and remove the fumbling. If you want to keep the bodysuit on, choose one of those cuts or practise the closure until it is quick. A design you have to fight is not seductive. Open-base designs are the simplest answer if you know you will keep it on.
04
Bathroom breaks and re-dressing
A bodysuit is awkward in a bathroom, and pretending otherwise leads to ruined evenings. Snap closures are manageable; a hook-and-eye base is slower. If you are wearing stockings or a garter belt over the bodysuit, plan the order: base first, then hosiery. Keep a robe nearby so you are not undoing everything in a cold bathroom. Practise once at home so the mechanics are boring.
05
When a bodysuit is the wrong choice
Skip it if you want to be undressed slowly, if you overheat easily, or if you know you will want skin-on-skin across the stomach. Skip it if the torso length is wrong and you cannot adjust it. A bodysuit is a tool for continuity, not a test of endurance. A cami set or a slip gives you a similar line with far less commitment. For a long evening, a bodysuit with a soft mesh panel is easier than a rigid lace one.

Questions
Quick answers.
How do I choose a bodysuit that stays on?
Can I wear a bodysuit all evening?+
Yes, if the torso length is right and the base does not pull.
Do snap closures hold?+
Good ones do. Test them before the evening and check for bent prongs.
How do I pee in a bodysuit?+
Undo the base closure and hold the fabric to one side. Practise at home first. A mirror helps the first time.
