A practical guide to roleplay costumes
How costume sizing works, what to expect from a set, and how to style it without overdoing it.

Roleplay costumes are cut like clothing, not like novelties. The good ones have a real closure, a defined waist and a hem that stays where it should. The weak ones rely on ties and stretch alone.
Start with the size you wear
Order the size you wear in a fitted dress, not the size you wear in a loose T-shirt. If the costume has a fitted bodice and no stretch, go up one size. If it is a robe or an apron-style set with ties, your usual size is usually right.
Check the size list on the product page. Some costumes are one size; some run XS–XL; some have a 4XL option. The list reflects what we actually stock, not a generic chart.
What is usually in a set
A set may include a dress or bodysuit, a separate brief or thong, and an accessory such as an apron, a headpiece or a pair of gloves. Read the colour and size options carefully: some options add stockings, an eye mask or a choker, which changes what arrives.
Styling notes
- Keep the rest simple: one accessory, one shoe, no competing prints.
- A sheer robe over a fitted costume makes the line read as clothing rather than fancy dress.
- If the costume has a zip or hook closure, check it sits flat before you remove tags.
- For photographs, use a plain wall and side light; the fabric reads better than with a direct flash.
Discretion
Every order ships in a plain, unbranded mailer. The outside does not name the product or the category. If you need the parcel held at a pickup point, use the carrier options in your tracking link once it is issued.
Care
Most costume fabrics are hand wash only. Remove detachable accessories first, close zips and hooks, and wash in cool water. Hang to dry; do not iron directly over lace, vinyl or printed panels.
