Measure first, then choose the shape. Between sizes, take the larger.

02Dress the moment

Match the piece to the outfit, the light and how long you will wear it.

03Keep it easy

Plain packaging, tracked delivery and 14-day returns with the seal intact.

Curvy bodies are not one shape, so there is no single lingerie rule; Lace Index stocks 2,491 styles, with S–3XL and selected 4XL, and each product page lists the exact sizes in stock. The fit depends on where the curve is: hip, waist, bust or all three. A piece that works for one curvy body can pull on another. This fit clinic starts with the hip and the waist, then moves to the bust and the fabric.

01

The hip

Measure the fullest part of the hip and compare it with the size list. The leg opening should sit flat without cutting in. A high-cut leg gives more room; a classic cut covers more. If the hip is tight, size up even if the waist is loose. A tailor can take in a waist more easily than a hip can be let out.

02

The waist

A curvy waist needs a band that does not roll. A wide waistband or a corset with boning distributes pressure better than a narrow elastic. Check the rise when you sit. If the waistband digs in, the size or the rise is wrong. A high-waist brief or a bodysuit with a wide band is often more comfortable.

03

The bust

Check the cup and the band separately. A full bust needs a firm band and a cup that does not cut across the top. A balconette or a soft cup can work; a plunge may not. If the band rides up at the back, it is too loose. If the cup spills, it is too small. Do not size down to get more lift.

04

The fabric

Stretch lace and mesh move with the body; rigid lace does not. A lined panel adds coverage and a smoother line. Check the edge at the hip and the underbust, where friction is most likely. A soft edge is more comfortable than a narrow elastic. If the fabric has no give, size for the largest measurement.

05

The stock

The index has 1,273 styles in 2XL, 145 in 3XL and 10 in 4XL, but not every style is held in every size. Check the product page for the exact size, not the category. If the size is not listed, it is not available for that piece. Keep the hygiene seal intact until you have tried the fit.
