Two looks, one evening
Decide who plays which side, or whether you will switch. The light look is pale, soft and covered; the dark look is black, structured and bare. Keep one shared detail, such as the same stockings or the same lip colour, so the two looks read as a pair rather than two separate outfits. If you cannot decide, let the other person choose and take the opposite; the pairing matters more than the side.

Building the light look

Agree on the tone before the costumes: teasing, not cruel. Decide what the devil may say and what is off the table. Use a stop word. The angel does not have to be passive and the devil does not have to be mean; the fun is in the exaggeration, and both of you are writing it. If a line lands badly, step out of the game and say so; the character can apologise without the evening ending.
